New Visual Arts Family Checklist
- Create a free account with Membership Toolkit (MTK). We use MTK to manage our website, membership, merchandise and newsletter. With an account you can keep track of your membership, access all our newsletters and announcements, sign up to volunteer, and purchase merchandise from the website or the app. And, since all of the guilds and the BTW PTSA use Membership Toolkit, you can move between organizations (even at other schools) with one log on. We recommend you download the app for easy, convenient access to information from the Visual Arts Guild and the BTW PTSA.
- Join the guild ! Everyone is welcome to join. Membership is free and all members receive our weekly newsletter. To join as a free member, just create an account with MTK and provide your email address. In addition to membership, we have several sponsorship levels.
- Become a sponsor ! We have several sponsorship levels, each with its own perks. All sponsors receive our newsletter and are eligible for grants and scholarships.
- Sponsor an event . Sustaining sponsorships support our monthly exhibits and programs like Young American Talent, Portfolio Day, Senior Showcase, and more.
- Make a donation . Every dollar goes directly to supporting our faculty and students.
- Bookmark the Visual Arts calendar . It has all the exhibits, receptions and guild meetings, and is updated continuously.
- Register or update your profile with VOLY before volunteering.
- Follow the Visual Arts Guild on social media - Facebook, Instagram and Remind (go to Remind or text @btwvaguild to 810810).

We have several sponsorship levels, each with its own perks. Sponsorships start at just $25. All sponsors receive our newsletter and are eligible for grants and scholarships. Check out the details below and become a sponsor today.
- $25 Community Sponsorship: Sponsors will receive the regular newsletter, have access to the online guild directory, and are eligible for grants and scholarships.
- $50 Bronze Sponsorship: Sponsors receive benefits of a community sponsorship plus a decal and 3-pen pack.
- $100 Silver Sponsorship: Sponsors receive benefits of community sponsorship plus recognition on our website, a decal and a market tote.
- $250 Gold Sponsorship: Sponsors receive benefits of a community sponsorship plus a recognition on our website and newsletter, a decal and a limited edition laundry bag.
- $500 Platinum Sponsorship: Sponsors receive benefits of a community sponsorship recognition on our website and newsletter, invitations to appreciation socials 2x a year, a decal, mug and yard sign.
We also welcome sustaining sponsors to support our monthly exhibits, resources like Membership Toolkit, and programs like Young American Talent, Portfolio Day, and Showcase.
We couldn't do what we do without the support of our volunteers. In most cases, parents and students are encouraged to volunteer. Whether you want to volunteer a little or a lot, on campus or from home, we can use your support. Check out these descriptions and then let us know how you'd like to volunteer.
The best way to stay informed is to become a guild member and sign up for our weekly newsletter. We also post events on our website calendar and promote them on Facebook, Instagram and Linktree. Here is an overview of the typical Visual Arts event calendar. We'll finalize dates before the school year begins.
- August - Flight School, Pegasus Pick Up, senior headshots, Freshman FYI, faculty back-to-school breakfast, parent social
- September - All-School Musical, Studio Selections exhibit and reception, North Texas Giving Day, Hispanic Heritage Festival
- October - Portfolio Day, New Works exhibit and reception, fall faculty appreciation
- November - Showcase, Senior Showcase exhibit and reception
- December - National Art Honor Society exhibit and reception, parent social, Bookter T Angels, Visual Arts Winter Market
- January - Art Sale, Senior Show #1
- February - Senior Show #2, African American Heritage Festival, spring faculty appreciation
- March - Senior Show #3
- April - I Am Booker T Day, Creations, Senior Show #4, parent social
- May - Young American Talent exhibit and reception, senior dinner
The Visual Arts Guild supports a variety of programs for our students, faculty and conservatory including Young American Talent, guild grants and scholarships, Showcase, Portfolio Day, student exhibits and receptions, the Visual Arts Market, Arts Week, and North Texas Giving Day.
We pride ourselves on our creative and unique merchandise. There is something for everyone in our online store. Don't forget your BTWHSPVA decals and yard signs to show your Pegasus pride. Every dollar supports our faculty and your students.
