Good afternoon Visual Arts students, parents and supporters! Congratulations to all our families as we close out the 2024-25 school year. And special congratulations to our graduates who will cross the Meyerson stage on Sunday at 5 p.m. You can watch the live stream from the DISD site. If you have trouble with the live stream, try the link directly from the DISD graduation schedule.

SUMMER HOMEWORK

Register: All new and returning students must complete registration each year by June 30, 2025. Include your updated contact information to receive school communications over the summer. Login to Smart Choice powered by SchoolMint to register.

Join or renew: The Visual Arts Guild membership year runs through May 31 so please join or renew your membership for the 2025-26 school year. As you may know, we rely on memberships, sponsorships and donations to fund the programs and resources we provide all the Visual Arts students and faculty.

Update: If we don't have your contact information we cannot send you email newsletters, reminders, announcements and updates. Be sure to update parent and student information in Membership Toolkit.

Download: The Membership Toolkit app is an easy way to access all the guild (and PTSA) information from your mobile device. If you have students in multiple conservatories or at different schools that use MTK, you can access all your membership info, purchase history, volunteer sign ups and more from the app. Download the app for Android or iOS.

Volunteer: There are many ways to connect with the guild next year. We need your time, talents, and resources!

CLASS OF 2026

Submit a design for the senior t-shirt by June 4. All details are on the PTSA site at http://btwptsa.membershiptoolkit.com/shirt-design.

Submit your shirt size. The PTSA Senior Activities Committee (SAC) gives every senior a t-shirt but you need to submit your size by June 16 or you will get whatever sizes are leftover.

Look for information from the school about senior yearbook portraits. They will be taken on campus from July 29 to August 1, 2025, with photographer Angela P. Navarette

Look for information from the Visual Arts Guild about Visual Arts senior headshots, which will be taken on campus within the first couple weeks of school. Senior yearbook photos and Visual Arts headshots are not the same things and cannot be used interchangeably.

Follow the Class of 2026 on social media. LOTS OF INFO will be shared over the summer so don't wait until August.

Parents, if you want to serve on the SAC, fill out an interest form on the PTSA website.
