Good afternoon Visual Arts seniors and parents. Did you know that there are 27 days until the Class of 2025 crosses the stage at the Meyerson?!
Check the school's senior website to make sure your student isn't missing any of the senior activities or deadlines.
Here are some highlights:
Visual Arts Senior Scholarships
Seniors can apply for one of five $1500 Visual Arts Guild scholarships awarded at the senior dinner. See the online application for all details and requirements and apply before May 2. Either a parent or the student must be guild members to be eligible. If you are unsure if you joined the guild, please email btwvisualarts@gmail.com.
Senior Parents
Please upload a baby photo to the Visual Arts Google Drive so we can include it in the senior dinner slideshow. Please name the photo with your students first and last name. You may also upload photos of student events, art shows, receptions, etc.
RSVP ASAP
RSVP for the senior dinner ASAP. We have not received replies from these families: Benton, Casablanca, Ciscneros, Clark, Farrin, Grimaldo, Heng, Jenkins, Maxwell, Sotero, or Valles Baca. We will not turn anyone away at the dinner, but those who attend without RSVPing may be seated after those who replied. Last year we ran out of space because a number of students attended with replying. Just 15 students can account for up to 45 guests. Even if you can't attend, please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Senior Newsletter
Make sure you are receiving the newsletter from the PTSA Senior Activities Committee. The April 28 email has details on National Signing Day (May 1), Prom (May 10), Check-In Week (May 12-15), Check-Out Day (May 16), Senior Party (May 21), Baccalaureate (May 24) and Graduation (May 25). The deadline to RSVP for the student/faculty volleyball game, senior breakfast and party, and Baccalaureate is May 12.
Parents can volunteer throughout the week. See the PTSA website for opportunities and details.
