Hello Visual Arts Guild supporters. We have lots of exciting news, updates and information to share with you. In this newsletter:

  • We've moved to Membership Toolkit
  • Now's the time to renew your guild membership
  • Join us Sunday, April 2 for an informative social
  • Volunteer on I Am Booker T Day
  • Senior scholarships are open through May 8

Move to Membership Toolkit (MTK)
We are excited to share we have moved to Membership Toolkit. This will allow us to consolidate our website, membership, merchandise, newsletter and volunteer opportunities under one tool.

Create or update your MTK account
If you are new to MTK, please visit the new website and create an account. It is free and makes it easy and convenient to keep track of your membership status, merchandise orders, donations, and volunteer opportunities on a desktop or via the app.

If you have an MTK account with another organization (like the PTSA, the Dance or Theatre Guild or another school), you can use the same log-in information for your Visual Arts Guild account. 

Join the Guild
Once you've created your MTK account, be sure to join the guild or renew your membershipMemberships start at just $25 and come with a variety of perks - including grants and scholarships for students.

Time to renew
If you joined the guild last year, it's time to renew. Check out our latest membership levels with new perks and giveaways! 

And Class of 2023 - we created a new membership level just for you. Join for $10 and stay in touch with the guild.

Please join us Sunday, April 2 from 3-5 at 5223 Monticello as we plan 2023-24. Parents and guardians of students in all grades are welcome!

I Am Booker T Day
Saturday, April 15 is I Am Booker T Day. We have LOTS of opportunities to volunteer throughout the day or donate refreshments. This is a fun, energetic event and we appreciate our parents, guardians and students volunteering to welcome our newest Pegasi. Check out the volunteer and donation opportunities and sign up today!

Senior Scholarships Now Open
One of the benefits of your guild membership is your student is eligible for a Senior Scholarship. Applications are now open through May. Check out the new Visual Arts Guild website for the eligibility requirements and application.

Congratulations!
It's been a great spring for our Visual Arts students. Senior Cole Willis received an Award of Excellence at the state level for his film entry in the PTA Reflections program

And Young American Talent finalists were announced and we have 22 finalists from BTW! Congratulations to Eliza Berle, Caroline Blankenship, Holly Finch, Noah Guevara, Heather Isenberg, Sarina Israel, Lilly Kowalczyk, Eva Kronbach, Lana Lewis, Roree Marshall, Bianca Matthews, Edie Murawski, Blue Perdue, Lola Saldana, Avery Sims, Camille Stinson, Isabel Thigpen, Martha Velazquez-Bujanda, Ella Wagner, London Walker, Jacquie Wheeler and Kate Zhang!!! 

We'll recognize and celebrate the finalists at a reception on Thursday, May 18 at 5 p.m. in the Hudson Gallery.
