Apply to Be a Teen Ambassador!

The DMA’s Teen Ambassador volunteer program is an opportunity to actively get involved with your local arts community, practice valuable leadership and speaking skills, and meet new people. Teen Ambassadors are trained to give tours, host story-times for families, and lead art-making activities in our galleries during the summer. If you’re at least 14 years old and have an interest in art and education, we want to hear from you! Learn more and apply below by April 29.

Join C3 Visiting Artist Timothy Harding to explore gesture: unique marks made by artists. Trace the artist’s hand through works in the collection, and create a work of art that showcases your individual style.

Teen Tours

Take a closer look at the art that made its mark on culture then and now in a free interactive tour. Tours are ideal for high school students who want to learn more about art history. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!

Modern Art

Thursday, March 22 | 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Learn about what inspired American and European artists to break from tradition and redefine what art could be.


Contemporary Art

Thursday, April 5 | 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Learn how to interpret works of art from multiple perspectives with Timothy Harding, C3 Visiting Artist and Assistant Professor of Fine Arts at Tarleton State University.
