Welcome to the Visual Arts Guild
We’re an all-volunteer parent group that supports the students and faculty of the Visual Arts cluster, including funding for art supplies and teaching materials and grants/scholarships for student and teacher enrichment.
We also provide volunteer support for cluster programs and activities such as Portfolio Day, Showcase, Young American Talent and Field Trips. In order to accomplish all we do, we request your support in the form of an annual donation: a membership, basically. We have membership levels from $20 to $1,000 and are grateful for however much you can give.
Supporting the Visual Arts Students & Teachers
The benefits of being involved in the Guild are many. First and foremost, you can keep it’s a great way to meet the best way to stay informed on all your student’s activities. Your membership puts you on our e-mail list to receive our monthly newsletter that details all our cluster’s upcoming activities, by grade level. And it’s a great way to meet and socialize with other parents in our cluster. We have two formal parent meetings a year to kick-off each semester, as well as parent social gatherings at different times during the school year. The Guild Board meets monthly with the Visual Arts Cluster Coordinator, our liaison to the Visual Arts faculty, to plan our full calendar of activities and discuss financial requests.
